The Kiss, Der Kuss (1907-1908) by Klimt is probably Gustav Klimt's most famous work. He began work on it in 1907 and it is the highpoint of his so-called 'Golden Period'. The Kiss is a vintage Victorian Era love and romance fine art painting featuring a young couple with various shades of gold, patterns and symbols against a bronze background.

Gustav Klimt was an Austrian Symbolist painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Art Nouveau movement.
