The Lido Beach Casino Jigsaw Puzzle

A Sarasota, Florida Landmark! A terrific 1000+ piece puzzle with great details of beach cabanas, palm trees and unique architecture. The puzzle is a reproduction of the painting by artist dagdart. The Casino was an enormously popular complex of restaurants, lounges, shops, swimming pool, cabanas and lifeguard towers on Sarasota’s pristine Lido Beach. It was designed by architect, Ralph Twitchell and built as a WPA project. It formally opened in 1940. Sadly, it was demolished a mere 29 years later in 1969. The swimming pool is all that remains. One architectural detail of the building was the eight foot concrete sea horse that adorned the facade and appeared as sentinels casting an eye out to sea.

My recipient loved this jigsaw, they found it a challenge at 1000 pieces, their only comment was the picture on the box was very small and made it tricky to follow as a guide. Printing as ever with Zazzle was great no issues.
