I was inspired to design this cup, because I was pushed aside and my voice was not heard. For me this cup is power, this cup is encouragement, this cup speaks volume. The colour pink represents compassion, nurturing and love, the colour orange radiates warmth and happiness, and offers emotional strength in difficult times, the colour purple relates to the imagination and spirituality. All though the colours may be soft, my voice is now distinctive and clear. I’ve come to the realisation that I needed to wake up on many issues, and its’ my desire that all women are bold enough to display this cup, and if asked why, be bold enough to explain.
