The Mob Museum is located in downtown Las Vegas. The building was constructed between 1931 and 1933. Opening on November 27, 1933, it served as a post office, and as a court house of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on February 10, 1983. The building was restored and renovated into the National Museum of Organised Crime and Law Enforcement in February 2012
