My dad passed this year, and I had this image of him gathering around with all of our relatives and friends who have also passed, giving us a round of applause because they know, they truly know and understand on a deeper level than we do, both the beauty and challenge of living a human life. They're applauding our perseverance and strength. It's their gift of encouragement to us.
