The Rebirth of Venus 2859a Mouse Mat

This work started with my hand cut abstract vertical rips (bars). vinyl multiple types; premium and intermediate colours teal , orange yellow and black, holographic (multi colour), white reflective, gold metallic's, silver metallic texture and gold leaf, applied to foam core backing. Created in late September Photographed on 10/08/2010 With the addition of all the 29 fireworks photographs I took on 08/14/2010 Located over the ocean at the end of the Daytona Beach, Pier. Several collages, made by varying blending of multiple background layer effects, using Photoshop. This is the Rebirth of Venus version in which I also use digital edits of photographs of planets and The Birth of Venus Painting by Botticelli.
