The Riddles of God - GK Chesterton Coffee Mug
This coffee has a graphic I designed and hand lettered of one of my favourite quotes from the early 20th century Christian Author GK Chesterton (Orthodoxy). Chesterton has many great quotes about society and quotes about religion.
The graphic on this coffee mug appears on both sides of the mug, and the design reads, “The riddles of God are more satisfying than the solutions of man”, which GK Chesterton wrote about the Book of Job in the Bible. This Christian quote has long been a favourite of mine because I have personally experienced those times when many of man’s solutions did little to help me through a hard time, but God Himself clearly intervened and helped in ways that couldn’t have been foreseen.
