About This Design
The Sandow Eugen Sandow Vaudeville Weightlifter
Step right up, folks! Witness the marvel of the modern age, the colossus carved from granite himself, The Sandow! -- Stronger than a bull moose, tougher than a wagon wheel, this German wonder ain't just muscle, he's a symphony of strength! Now, the Trocadero Vaudevilles ain't your dusty old opera house, no sir! This here's a palace of entertainment, a gilded cage for the most stupendous spectacles this side of the Mississippi! And tonight, you lucky sons-of-guns get to see Sandow in all his glory! -- But hold on to your hats, folks, 'cause Sandow ain't here for fancy weightlifting! Tonight, he's gonna rewrite the rules of human potential! Imagine this: two grown men, hefty enough to make a prizefighter whimper, hoisted high in wicker baskets like precious cargo. Now, picture those baskets dangling from a barbell, thicker than a sailor's arm! And that barbell, folks, that's balanced on the shoulders of a man sculpted by the gods – that's Sandow! -- The crowd gasps! Mothers clutch their pearls! Even the toughest cowboys can't help but gape in awe. Sandow stands there, a human Hercules holdin' the weight of two men with just one arm! His muscles bulge like overstuffed sausages, veins like rivers on a map, and the barbell doesn't even wiggle! -- A beat of stunned silence hangs heavy in the air. Then, the dam breaks! The crowd erupts in a roar, a cacophony of cheers, whistles, and stomps that could shake the foundations! Hats fly into the air, popcorn scatters like a hailstorm, and the very floorboards tremble under the thunderous applause. -- Sandow, with a grin that could light up a carnival at midnight, slowly lowers the barbell. The crowd goes wild again, their adulation echoin' through the Trocadero. This ain't just a show, folks, this is a miracle! A testament to the power of the human body, a spectacle that'll leave you slack-jawed and beggin' for more! So don't miss your chance to witness the legendary Sandow! He'll be here all week, folks, amazin' audiences and bendin' the very laws of physics! But hurry, because a sight this magnificent ain't gonna last forever! -- Created by The Strobridge Lith Co. Cincinnati & New York in 1894. This work is in the public domain in the United States because it was published (or registered with the U.S. Copyright Office) before January 1, 1927.

Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world! My Nan loved my artwork too and the picture of us inside helped her remember who I was as she has Alzheimer's. Crisp and clear. Bright and colorful true to the original artwork I created. The photo we placed inside also looked great and clear.

This was used as a Mother's Day card and my mother absolutely loved it! The artwork and attention to detail is stunning. It's as if the hare could jump right out of the card at any moment. The print quality and colours are of a very high standard and show the beautiful hare in commendable detail.
