The Whittling Boy (by Winslow Homer) Jigsaw Puzzle
This design features a painting by the American artist Winslow Homer (1836–1910), who is widely considered to have been one of the foremost painters in 19th-century America. It shows a boy sitting on a wooden log in a woodland; he is using a knife to whittle wood and appears to be completely absorbed in the process. The term whittling refers to the process of repeatedly shaving slivers from a piece of wood. The original painting was completed in 1873.
