The Wounded Angel Watch
This design features a painting by the Finnish artist Hugo Simberg (1873–1917). It shows an angelic figure being carried on a wooden stretcher by two young boys. The angel is injured with a bandaged forehead and bloodied wing. The angel is also holding some small white flowers. The painting can be seen as carrying an anti-war or pro-peace message, since it shows the evil of unnecessary suffering. The original artwork was painted in 1903.

I really like the quality of the watch. It’s lovely, but I’m a bit disappointed that the face of the watch wasn’t made the same colour. I wanted a vibrate bottle green background, as seen in the second photo, but I got a black background or extremely dark green. It’s still great and my son will love it, but it wasn’t what I ordered, which was a shame.

I bought it as a present and absolutely love the look of it! The delivery was very prompt and tye product came in a good condition. I would definitely recommend it and I would buy it again if I ever needed. Thank you! The printing is slightly less visible than I expected. This is a bit shame because the idea is what attracted me, so I would really love it to be a bit more bright (visible).
