Trois Carottes Fou (Three Crazy Carrots) This watercolor was done while I was living in the south of France, (Rognes, Provence)on Philippe's farm. I was helping to harvest the carrots. Farmers want the perfect shaped carrots, but I loved the strange and funny oddly shaped ones. It became a game to collect the strangest funny ones as models for my still life paintings! Looked great and was perfect for my Nana's 99th it arrived super quick so much quicker than sending the original from the other side of the world!
