Tibetan Windhorse Prayer Flag Pillow

The windhorse symbolises peace, wealth, harmony and well-being in Buddhism, and is often considered an allegory for the human soul. The windhorse and surrounding prayers are often printed on flags, which when moved by the wind are thought to send their prayers for peace and loving kindness out into the world, "they carry their prayers to heaven, like a horse flying in the wind". Our windhorse design has been made from a hand carved Tibetan tablet that was used to make these prayer flags. Prayer flags are printed in the colours of the five elements. The white colour of this pillow symbolises the air and wind.
