The tiles of Portugal are captivating! Azulejo, as the tiles are known in Portuguese, quickly became my photo project during my trip in the summer of 2017. These colourful tiles have been a part of the Portuguese landscape since the 13th century. This particular tile was captured in Ericeira but I found so many more in stops between Lisbon and Porto.
