Kuroda Fujitomoe Travel Mug
Kuroda Fujitomoe is a family crest of the Kuroda clan. The Kuroda clan served the Kodera family, a powerful family of the Akamatsu clan, which was one of the four shoguns of the Muromachi shogunate. Mototaka Kuroda, who served the Kodera family, was adopted by them and changed his surname to Kodera. His son was Kanbei, later known as Takakazu (also known as Josui). As Nobunaga's campaign to unify Japan progressed and entered the stage of conquering the Chugoku region, Himeji Castle was provided as a forward base for Hideyoshi. Himeji was originally under the control of Mototaka as a castle guardian for the Kodera family. The 'Fujitomoe' crest, later known as 'Kuroda Fujitomoe', also originated from the Kodera family. The final product far exceeded my expectations when it arrived. It feels solid, looks impressive, and I love the style. It has a very solid lid which is still easy to remove and re fit. Looks great in the Stainless Steel and it was delivered on time and very well packaged. I have only one little niggle, and that is the logo background colour of black doesn't quite match the black that they company uses so you can see the slight difference is tones. It would have been great if these matched and to be honest, I am not sure if that is something I would have to do my end before uploading or if this could be sorted at the printing stage.
