Tour du Mont Blanc cartoon map - travel mug
This is an unofficial memento of the Tour du Mont Blanc trip that took place in July 2015, organised by Country Walkers. All 16 guests and the two guides are depicted above the title. The main design shows the route we took, with selected highlights. I used Google Earth and GPS data to reconstruct a 3D view of the hike, and then exaggerated the topography in cartoon style. A selection of highlights from the trip are depicted along the route. This is a personal project that reflects my own experience, and is not endorsed in any way by the tour company, Country Walkers. I felt it was important to include my hiking companions because they are a big part of what made this such a great trip. Everyone was depicted with the best of intentions, and I apologise for any inaccuracies.

The final product far exceeded my expectations when it arrived. It feels solid, looks impressive, and I love the style. It has a very solid lid which is still easy to remove and re fit. Looks great in the Stainless Steel and it was delivered on time and very well packaged. I have only one little niggle, and that is the logo background colour of black doesn't quite match the black that they company uses so you can see the slight difference is tones. It would have been great if these matched and to be honest, I am not sure if that is something I would have to do my end before uploading or if this could be sorted at the printing stage.
