Original title: No. 23 'Apache' at Wyoming Station, WY

Location: Laramie, WY
This train station in Laramie, Wyoming, was used by the Union Pacific Railroad, which started in 1862. They were a part of the First Transcontinental Railroad project known as the Overland Route. It was located about 11 miles from Laramie, WY.
The locomotive was built by Baldwin in March 1867, known as "Apache", its a 4-4-0, and its original number was 1601. Then the United Pacific Eastern Division used the number 23, as we see it now. Then later it was called the 350 in 1885. Then it was vacated in 1889 and 1894. It was used to pull freight.
