Tramway Gas Station Palm Springs California. This illustration is a tribute to a landmark, the former Enco service station on the road leading to the base of the Aerial Tramway. Eye catching with its distinctive wedge-shaped canopy was built in 1965 and designed by Albert Frey and Robson C. Chambers. It is considered to be a prime example of modernist architecture.
