Tree of Irish History Poster

Reproduction of a 19th century lithograph. Flaws on the original, such as tears, are evident. This is highly detailed, and is reproduced from a high resolution image so the detail will be clear even on the largest size reproductions. Print shows a large tree with many limbs on which are chronicled important dates and events in Irish history. Seated on the left is Erin with harp and hound, with a man (possibly Daniel O'Connell) standing near her. Caption reads: “Chronological tree of Irish history from the first invasion of the English to the present day. This is taken from the original copy of which the plate was destroyed by an Act passed in 1848 making it sedition to publish it.” Image may be resized to eliminate the outer border, or the outer border colour may be changed when purchasing.
