Trees by the Canal Mouse Mat

This a sepia photo I took in the Summer of 2007 of the trees overhanging the old Dock Feeder Canal in Bute Park Cardiff. It's quite an abstract photograph with a lot of detail. The Sepia effect (which is a setting on my digital camera) gives it a kind of timeless quality and perhaps gives one the Impression it was taken with some sort of Vicorian plate camera, and a couple of yards up the canal bank the Pre-Raphaelite painter John Everett Millais is busy painting Lizzy Siddal laying in the shallows fully clothed, modelling for his Masterpiece "Death of Ophelia" Well maybe not. But it does seem to have that kind of Vicorian feel.
