Trees growing on Sea Turtle Islands Illustration Glass
Eco-themed drawing inspired by the Gaia Hypothesis. It depicts an alternate reality where an ocean has covered the entire Earth, submerging even the highest peaks. Here, trees can only grow on the backs of turtles. The turtles are herbivorous, so they depend on this floating forest for food. However, they cannot reach the leaves or fruit on their own trees, generally speaking. Instead, each turtle grazes on its neighbour’s tree. They have to be interdependent. Humans live upon the turtles. They contribute to the ecosystem by tending and fertilising the trees. I drew this illustration with ink and coloured pencil, but added the Celtic knots in Procreate.

It’s such a shame ! I ordered this in January with intentions of it arriving for Valentine’s Day. I gave more than enough time for delivery. I ordered it the second to last week if not the last week of january. It arrived February 27th! Sorry after Valentine’s Day and a month later ! It’s such a shame that the delivery took ages because the quality is amazing ! I would have been happy to have paid an extra £10 for faster delivery … it comes from Ireland but I shipped it to England… should not have taken that long! I could have flown over there myself and flown back faster. Despite this I would recommend the product. I would just order 1.5 months prior to when you need it ! The glass is a good thickness and the printing is great quality ! Definitely a hand wash product tho !

I was delighted with the quality of this product. Nice thick glass. It should stand up well to getting used on a regular basis. Just the right size for holding a nice cool drink. The print quality was excellent? The colours are vibrant and really stand out.
