My illustration of the orange Spotted Triopha nudibranch is based on photographs I took of this sea slug in the tidepools near Half Moon Bay, California. This tumbler makes a great gift for the scuba diver, tidepool lover, or sea slug enthusiast in your life! Nudibranchs, or sea slugs, are shell-less relatives of land snails. They're found in all oceans of the world, and come in a vast array of different forms and colors. The Spotted Triopha (Triopha maculata) is one of the many colorful nudibranchs found along the coast of California. Please contact me if you would like this image on a different product!
