The triskelion is also known as the tri-spiral or “Spiral of Life.” The Greek term triskelion literally means “three-legged,” and this sign looks very much like three legs running. The three spirals in the triskelion are interconnected with no open ends thus creating one continuous line. Each spiral turns in the same direction. The three spirals represent balance, harmony and continual motion indicative of the flow of life and of the Earth in her seasons and cycles. I really like the quality of the watch. It’s lovely, but I’m a bit disappointed that the face of the watch wasn’t made the same colour. I wanted a vibrate bottle green background, as seen in the second photo, but I got a black background or extremely dark green. It’s still great and my son will love it, but it wasn’t what I ordered, which was a shame.
