In times of corporate hugeness, record labels with a specialisation are to be few and far between these days, so it is certainly worth celebrating the passion and hard work of the labels of the past. These labels were run by people with a real passion for their genre, people who would travel great distances to hear music. All a far cry from the corporate machine of today's music business. Trix Records was a label releasing only Blues records, and they brought many fine musicians to the attention of the music loving public. Sadly no longer trading, the legacy of Trix lives on.
