True Towel Tales 2 of 6 Poster
12” x 10.5” poster with a vintage image of an ad run by Cannon Mills for their Cannon towels. This ad shows five airmen in a cabin in Alaska. One of the airmen is in the act of throwing a bucket of cold water on an airman with only a towel around him. Cannon Towels ran these ads in WWII which were based on actual letters they received from the boys in the field about their products. The art was done by prolific artist James Bingham which shows off his excellent skills. The art is as such to tantalize the ad's audience, women, so what's better then a bunch of scantily clad soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen for all those lonely ladies back home? I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.

it's very good quality especially for cutting out, i chose too big of a size but thats okay as it still looks really cute on my door :3 and so cheap to print as well thank you.
