TS Arethusa moored in the Medway Mug
Welecome to the TS ARethusa collection on Zazzle. The photos features in this section on the T shirts and other gifts, were all taken by Lt. Com. AE Werghtman, known to many as "Willie Weightman". He died on April Fools day 1987, but we are thrilled to present a little bit of his work on these T shirts and gifts. Arethusa, or Peking, to give her the original name, was one of the "Flying Ps", built by Blum and Voss in Hamburg. She spent many yearsz as a School ship in the river Medway in the UK before going to New York where she was an exhibit in the South Street Sea Museum. Now she is being returned to Hamburg, where she was built? complete with the memories of all of us who knew her so well. Greetings to Arethusa boys everywhere! Willie's daughter
