Buried about 1323 BC, this burial mask of 22 pounds pure gold is now some 3344 years old (as I am writing this is 2021). It amazes me that some unknown artist could create such a great art work such as this some 3344 years ago! Bringing together 22 pounds of gold and some dark blue glass and dark blue lapis lazuli stone imported from Afghanistan, and other glass and stones ... and create this stunning art work.
