Two Girls With Needlework Sitting in a Farmyard Jigsaw Puzzle
This design features a painting by the Danish artist Hans Andersen Brendekilde (1857–1942). It depicts two girls doing needlework, either crocheting or knitting fabrics. They are sitting together on a small wooden bench in a farmyard in rural Denmark. There is a small cat in the background. Further back there appears to be a woman sowing seeds or picking vegetables. The original artwork was painted by H.A. Brendekilde in 1902.
