Two Red Squirrels (by Albrecht Dürer) Card
This design features a watercolor painting by Albrecht Dürer (1471–1528), who was an artist, printmaker and theorist of the German Renaissance. It shows two squirrels, one facing the viewer as it eats a hazlenut and the other with its back turned away. The bushy tail of the lighter-coloured squirrel is beautifully rendered. The animals look playful and lifelike. The original German title of the artwork is "Zwei Eichhörnchen", which simply means "Two Red Squirrels", and it was completed in 1512.

The image is perfect for a romantic occasion though I made the mistake of thinking it was a greeting card when in fact it is a postcard - my mistake but easily happens.
Took a little while to print and to be sent from overseas I think. Good quality card and printing.
