This whimsical Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print, created by the masterful Utagawa Kuniyoshi during the Edo period, is titled "Famous Heroes of the Kabuki Stage Played by Frogs". The artwork features anthropomorphic frogs, some dressed as samurai warriors, dramatically reenacting famous scenes and characters from traditional Kabuki plays.
