Title : 深川上の橋（fukagawa kami no hashi / ふかがわ かみ の はし / Kaminohashi Bridge, Fukagawa from “Twelve Scenes of Tokyo”) 「東京十二題」より The Kaminohashi bridge was built where the Sendai dugout in Fukagawa meets the Sumida River. Today, only the four main pillars remain. Artist :川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui / かわせ はすい) Kawase Hasui (May 18, 1883 - November 7, 1957) was a woodblock print artist active during the Taisho and Showa periods. He established the world of new prints in an attempt to revive the declining Japanese ukiyoe prints. His works were highly acclaimed overseas, and he has been called the "Hiroshige of the Showa period.
