Title : 秋の越路 (Aki no Koshiji / Autumn in Koshiji) Souvenirs of Travel, 1st Series
Koshiji is the name of a former town in Mishima County, central Niigata Prefecture. It is now a district in the central part of Nagaoka City.
Artist :川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui / かわせ はすい)
He was a printmaker active from the Taisho to Showa periods. He travelled throughout Japan and painted lyrical depictions of the beautiful local scenery.
Steve Jobs was also a favourite of Kawase Hasui's work.
