Title : 寺泊の夜雨 (teradomari no yosame / Evening Shower, Teradomari) Souvenirs of Travel, 2st Series Teradomari is a port town with a beautiful coastline that stretches 16 kilometres from north to south of Nagaoka City in Niigata Prefecture. Artist :川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui / かわせ はすい) He was a printmaker active from the Taisho to Showa periods. He travelled throughout Japan and painted lyrical depictions of the beautiful local scenery. Steve Jobs was also a favourite of Kawase Hasui's work. ＊Note: Created with colour correction based on public domain of ColBase.
