Title：芝増上寺（shiba Zōjō-ji / しば ぞうじょうじ / Zōjō-ji Temple in Shiba）from the Selection of Scenic Views of Japan. Zojoji Temple is a Jodo sect temple located in Shiba Park in Minato Ward, Tokyo. It is the family temple of the Tokugawa Shoguns. Artist :川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui / かわせ はすい) Kawase Hasui (May 18, 1883 - November 7, 1957) was a woodblock print artist active during the Taisho and Showa periods. He established the world of new prints in an attempt to revive the declining Japanese ukiyoe prints. His works were highly acclaimed overseas, and he has been called the "Hiroshige of the Showa period.
