Title : 別府の夕 (Beppu no yū / べっぷ の ゆう / Evening in Beppu)
Beppu is located in Oita Prefecture and is famous for its Beppu Hot Springs.
Author :川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui / かわせ はすい)
川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui (May 18, 1883 - November 7, 1957)) was a woodblock print artist active during the Taisho and Showa periods. He established the world of new prints in an attempt to revive the declining Japanese ukiyoe prints. His works were highly acclaimed overseas, and he has been called the "Hiroshige of the Showa period. Please enjoy the world of more than 30 multi-coloured woodblock prints with deep impressions of ordinary Japanese scenes and characteristic blue.
