Title : 奇術十二支之内 羊 照田（Kijyutsu Jyūnishi no uchi Hitsuji - Teruta / きじゅつ じゅうにし の うち ひつじ てるた)
Kabuki actor : 岩井半四郎 (Iwai Hanshirō / いわい はんしろう)
Author :豊原国周 (Toyohara Kunichika / とよはら くにちか)
奇術 is the art of sorcery. 十二支 (jyūnishi) means12 signs of the Chinese zodiac. 羊 (Hitsuji) means “Sheep”.
児雷也 (Jiraiya) captured 田毎姫 (Tagoto hime), but she was actually 照田姫 (Teruta hime), daughter of 高砂勇美之助 (Takasago Yuminosuke). He then carried Teruta hime on a paper toad and returned her to Takasago's side. Her relationship with 羊 is unknown.
