The ruins of São Miguel das Missões in Brazil, and those of San Ignacio Miní, Santa Ana, Nuestra Señora de Loreto and Santa María la Mayor in Argentina, lie at the heart of a tropical forest. They are the impressive remains of 5 Jesuit missions, built in the land of the Guaranis during the 17th and 18th centuries. Each is chraacterised by a specific layout and a different state of conservation.

The Zazzle cards are always beautifully done and these were no exception. I love these cards because, after over 70 years of collecting, I can fill in the gaps. I especially like the ones of UNESCO heritage sites, some of which are fairly obscure, and which have both photos and texts on them.
