Vintage Unicorn Star Chart depicting the Monoceros Constellation This is a quality reproduction of a vintage astronomical chart showing a unicorn, a dog, and printing apparatus forming the constellations. The original hand-coloured etching was created by Sidney Hall and was published in 1825. The title is "Monoceros, Canis Minor, and Atelier Typographique." Monoceros is the Greek word for unicorn. The Monoceros Unicorn Constellation is bordered on the west by Orion, on the north by Gemini, on the south by Canis Major and on the east by Hydra. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
