I love embroidery samplers, and I wanted to create a series of samplers, but reimagined. This design was influenced by living through the 1976 Bicentennial celebration as a kid. About the art: I create whimsical, one of a kind mixed media art pieces using discontinued designer remnants, up cycled vintage things, found objects and paints. I had this puzzle made as a gift to my husband and he (who is a man of few words and shows less emotion than most) loved it! Not only that, our family enjoyed putting the puzzle together.
