Urimi Umebachi A Travel Mug
[Urizane Ubachi] Ume-mon. This is based on the design of "Nihon Monshogaku" written by Yorisuke NUMATA, and based on the drawing method of the Umebachi (starting from the drawing method of the circle by dividing the circle by 10 according to the method of dividing the crest) in "Manji no Makuryoku, Tomoe no Churyoku" written by Tsumao AWASAKA, and drawing it (2013/6/21) in consideration of the uniformity as a part of the Umebachi series of the Kaga Maeda family. Toshiharu, the third son of Toshitsune, the third lord of the Kaga-Maeda family, established a branch family with the permission of the bakufu and established the Minami Kaga Daishoji Domain with 70,000 koku. This Urimi-umebachi was used as the family crest. It is also called Daishoji Umebachi (Monten) and Boken Umebachi (Monnosen).

The final product far exceeded my expectations when it arrived. It feels solid, looks impressive, and I love the style. It has a very solid lid which is still easy to remove and re fit. Looks great in the Stainless Steel and it was delivered on time and very well packaged. I have only one little niggle, and that is the logo background colour of black doesn't quite match the black that they company uses so you can see the slight difference is tones. It would have been great if these matched and to be honest, I am not sure if that is something I would have to do my end before uploading or if this could be sorted at the printing stage.
