    Willem van de Velde the Younger (1633–1707) Dutch men-o'-war and other shipping in a calm, c. 1665. Beautiful old ships painted with almost photograpic accuracy, a great guide to the appearance of 17th-century ships. This painting is very well preserved, with brilliant colours.
