Vegetarian/Vegan Healthy Eating Portion Control Plate
This plate, rimmed with proactive terms, offers an easy way to begin eating better, more compassionately, and more mindfully. Simply fill the green section of the plate with non-starchy vegetables, fill the purple section of the plate with low-glycemic index fruits (lists are easy to find online), fill the beige section with grains or starchy vegetables, and fill the salmon-coloured section with vegetarian or vegan proteins. Use fats sparingly, and stay away from refined sugars. You'll soon be on your way to better nutrition, a healthier life, and a more compassionate world.
