Venerable Antonietta Meo Child Mystic of Rome Poster

Venerable Antonietta Meo Child Mystic of Rome Poster

A tender and spiritually radiant portrayal of The Venerable Antonietta Meo (1930–1937), affectionately known as Nennolina, one of the youngest venerable servants of God in the history of the Catholic Church. According to Wikipedia, she was born in Rome on 15 December 1930 and from the age of three showed an extraordinary love for Jesus, expressed in the many letters she dictated — and later wrote herself — to Christ, the Virgin Mary, and God the Father. The official Nennolina site recounts that she joined the Azione Cattolica as a very young child, proudly wearing its badge and eagerly reading its magazines. Her spiritual sensitivity was far beyond her years, filled with affection, trust, and a desire to console Jesus. Santiebeati.it describes the turning point of her short life: after injuring her knee, doctors discovered an osteosarcoma, leading to the amputation of her leg. Despite intense suffering, she remained joyful, offering her pain “for Jesus” and continuing to write over one hundred letters filled with mystical depth and childlike purity. Santa Croce in Gerusalemme highlights her courage and serenity even after the amputation, noting her desire to do everything other children did, without complaint or self‑pity. Her innocence, maturity, and spiritual clarity deeply impressed all who met her. She died in Rome on 3 July 1937, at only six and a half years old. On 17 December 2007, Pope Benedict XVI recognized her heroic virtues, declaring her Venerable — a decisive step toward sainthood. Ideal for devotional prints, inspirational designs, children’s catechesis, and materials celebrating innocence, courage, and the transforming power of love.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame. This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again. One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up. Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font. Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
