The flag of the Republic of Venice featuring the traditional icon of St Mark - the Lion of Saint Mark. The text written in Latin on the book says: "Pax tibi Marce, evangelista meus." (May Peace be with you, Mark, my evangelist.). The lion is the symbol of Saint Mark (San Marco). Repubblica di Venezia, (in Venetian: Serenìsima Repùblica Vèneta or Repùblica de Venesia), is also called La Serenissima - meaning the most serene republic.

I love this mug, I designed it for myself (the only thing wrong is the pink color in the print: it's darker than the preview). The inside color is perfect and also the print has a high quality finissage. colors are a bit Darker, so my pink heart and logo aren't like the preview.
