The Girl with a Pearl earring is a masterpiece created in 1665 and hangs in the Hague. In the Vermeer masterwork "Girl with a Pearl Earring", the young girl looks out at us, a simple pearl in her ear. She wears a blue headpiece, with white cloth hanging down her back. "Girl with a Pearl Earring" is sometimes compared to the Mona Lisa, or the Dutch Mona Lisa". Vermeer was a master artist, but his works are very rare, as not many of his paintings have survived.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
