Birthday greeting card for Lillian and Lily - or everyone else that may appreciate this specimen of the European white water lily.
The greeting card is inspired by a colour illustration by French Art Nouveau artist Maurice Pillard Verneuil (Plate 7, La plante et ses applications ornementales, 1896).
This is the botanical drawing (not the ornamental application), but the style is light and delicate, almost ethereal.

This card is great fun and good quality. I loved the humour inside and on the back. There is the opportunity to change the orientation of this card from landscape to portrait, which I did. It is relatively straightforward to amend the typeface to fit the new orientation. It was well packaged with no plastic. The printing on this card is excellent.
