This beautiful postcard features a watercolour masterpiece by Michael (Angelo) Rooker, A.R.A., titled 'Village Scene' This beautiful painting has amazing, vibrant colours and features a shepherd herding his flock of sheep on a country road lined with short stone boundary walls on one side with trees laden with leaves of all hues, from every shade of orange to green, overhanging the boundary walls and on the other side a stone bulit cottage with smoke slowly spewing out of the chimney and a couple of villagers, including a lady with her baby, chatting idlly by the side of the road with their dog at their feet, on a beautiful, sunny, late country morning!
