Vincent van Gogh - The Yellow House (The Street) Tea Towel
The Yellow House (aka The Street) (1888) by Vincent van Gogh is a vintage Post Impressionism fine art architectural daily life painting. The house was in the town of Arles, France and van Gogh rented 4 rooms in the right wing of the building. Paul Gaugin lived in van Gogh's guest room for 9 weeks. The left wing of the building housed a grocery. The building went through several renovations before it was severely damaged in a bombing raid by the Allies during WWII and was later demolished.
About the artist:
Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853-1890) was a Post Impressionist painter whose work was most noteable for its rough beauty, emotional honesty, and bold colour.

I was delighted with the beautiful tea towels, the design looked really lovely. I adore garden ponds and these towels and other products I ordered with the same design will bring me so much pleasure. My garden is too small for a real pond. If you love ponds and wildlife this design is for you!

They absorb so well and wash up really nicely not losing their colour at all. They are expensive but in my opinion they are well worth the money. Yes they turned out perfectly to match my new kitchen
