A classic artwork that has passed into the public domain and makes wonderful gifts and other products. <br><br>One of my favourite van Gogh paintings, "Olive Trees with the Alpilles in the Background" is from his series of painting known as the "Cypresses" and includes the swirling features of the sky most famously evident in "The Starry Night, " painted around the same time. <br><br>Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890) was probably the most famous Post-Impressionist painter.
