    Vintage Albert Neuhuys Spring Canvas Print

    Vintage Albert Neuhuys Spring - Created between 1885-1887 by Albert Neuhuys - Albert Neuhuys (1844 - 1914) was a Dutch painter. He painted interiors, specialising in the shine of satin clothes, after the example of 17th-century, Dutch Golden Age painter Pieter de Hooch who was famous for his genre works of quiet domestic scenes with an open doorway. Neuhuys was regarded as the founder of the Laren School. He painted the farmers and weavers in their homes and rented a flax barn where he drew and painted spinners.
