A vintage illustration from a fairy tale titled "The Blue Bird" found in "The Fairy Book." A young woman with long red hair sits on the rocks by the side of a pond, dipping her feet in the water and grooming her hair as she looks at her reflection. A fairy watches from nearby. The artist, Warwick Goble (1862-1943), was an English illustrator who was influenced by Japanese watercolor techniques. He is most famous for his children’s books and fairy book illustrations. Card is blank inside for your own message.
